Gherri Meat Technology Becomes New TriVision Distributor In Italy

TriVision joins forces with the Italian company Gherri Meat Technology to penetrate the Italian market - the third largest market within the packed food industry in Europe.

The cooperation adds TriVision’s vision inspection systems to Gherri Meat Technology’s existing range of processing and packaging solutions, enabling TriVision’s systems to become known quality control solutions to Italian food manufacturers and in the end become installed at their production facilities.

With a total market value of €14,000 million in 2019 and an expected steady growth over the next five years, the attractiveness of the Italian market for packaged food is indisputable. The cooperation with Gherri Meat Technology will give TriVision a strong position in the Italian market as TriVision’s quality control systems will be showcased by a supplier that is trusted by the Italian food manufacturers:

Some of Italy’s most famous food products are the various cured meats such as Prosciutto, Salami or Bresaola and Italian cheeses such as Parmesan, Gorgonzola, or Provolone. The value of the packed meat market alone in Italy was €7,000 million in 2019 and is expected to reach a value of €10,000 million in 2024, while the packed cheese market had a value of around €3,000 million in 2019 and is expected to have a slight growth over the next five years. These facts underline the big potential that the partnership between TriVision and Gherri Meat Technology holds:
